This week, hundreds of Road Scholar participants (and future participants!) on the East Coast took advantage of the opportunity to meet the people behind our educational programs at the Road Scholar Road Show. They learned about our U.S. and international adventures, met President James Moses and other Road Scholar staff and got a taste of our educational content from the kind of experts who lead and lecture on programs. Here are a few snapshots from the last four days:
The Road Show kicked off on Long Island Sunday.
Road Scholar expert Molly Goodrich talked to participants about the art history of New York’s Greenwich Village.
Monday we made the short journey to New York City, where the Road Show hosted participants aboard the Spirit of New York docked at Chelsea Piers.
Tuesday we were in the City of Brotherly Love on board the Spirit of Philadelphia, docked at Penn’s Landing.
Wednesday this leg of the Road Show wrapped up in Washington, D.C. aboard the Odyssey III.
After seeing so many excited participants this week, we hope to bring the Road Show to more cities soon — stay tuned!
